Tuition, uniforms, books and personalized guidance to ensure Maasai girls successfully transition from primary to secondary school.
Discover Education SidaiOMOM Maasai Community Foundation is a youth- and women-led non-profit dedicated to empowering Maasai girls through education, safe housing, mentorship and community engagement.
We focus on increasing school enrollment and supporting Maasai girls to successfully transition from primary to secondary school. We aim to nurture leadership and confidence, provide safe housing, and prepare girls to become agents of positive change.
We engage parents, elders, and local leaders in community dialogues to challenge harmful practices and systemic barriers — creating an environment where Maasai girls can thrive, learn and lead.
Learn more about usEarly marriage, long distances, lack of safe environments, and limited leadership opportunities prevent girls from reaching their full potential. OMOM exists to break these barriers — one girl, one community at a time.
Each program tackles a specific barrier to Maasai girls' education and leadership — together, they create a complete pathway to empowerment.
